Harvard MBA ’24 / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, NTUA / GMAT 740

I cannot emphasize enough the effectiveness of Dia’s method in preparing her students for the GMAT.

As an engineer and a student who was never strong in language and literature, I understood my vulnerability in the Verbal component of the test early on.

Yet after a few months alongside her guidance, I managed to score 40 (91st percentile) which boosted my overall performance significantly alongside my Quant score.

It’s been four years since our collaboration, but I can still remember the key ingredients that contributed to this success:

• Devotion: Dia sets high standards for her students, but she does so while caring deeply for their success. She is an awesome educator and a mentor at the same time. On a personal level she managed to make me appreciate the beauty of English syntax and helped me stay on track with my preparation by focusing my efforts.

• Content: Complementary to her unique teaching style, the course material that the classes are based on is concise, well-structured, and exhaustive. I didn’t need to use any other material and the content was so well written that I could very easily grasp and memorize the key concepts.

• Holistic support: Beyond the verbal component, Dia’s team provided me with the support I needed to succeed in GMAT and the MBA application process. Mr. Karalis’ unique approach helped me understand and nail the quant component. Last but not least, Mr. Kalandranis helped me clarify my goals and develop a value proposition that ultimately resonated with HBS’s admissions team.

I strongly recommend Dia Gerontoudi Prep Center to every student who wants to maximize their admission potential in the world’s most competitive programs.

Thanks for everything!

Alexandros
