I contacted Dia Gerontoudi Prep Center on the strong suggestion of a good friend, intent of aiming for a top MBA program in the USA. Honestly, I was a little concerned about whether the scale of my ambitions and dreams was in fact too much for my abilities. I first met with Thomas Kalandranis, who outlined a clear, methodical preparation path and highlighted previous cases of candidates that had indeed managed to be accepted by some of the top universities globally. I knew the road ahead would be challenging but I also felt that I had found the true professionals to guide me along.
I had a strong quantitative background but my verbal skills were not quite as advanced, so I knew I would have to focus my energy on that portion of the GMAT. Ms. Dia Gerontoudi designed a custom study program for me and with her wonderfully methodical work and her extraordinary knowledge of English and teaching skills turned me very quickly into a 700+ student, something that I could have barely dreamt of a short time before. Fun fact: we never met in person due to the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, but I truly appreciated the care and support Dia offered as if she had known me for years. I really doubt if I could have achieved a similar score without her assistance and guidance, and I am sure that I could not have had a better teacher!
Following my successful testing of the GMAT (720), I worked closely with Thomas Kalandranis on my applications. His vast experience and expansive knowledge of the top business schools aided me to focus on the most appropriate MBA programs for me. Despite our compressed time frame to meet the 1st round deadlines, Mr. Thomas managed to coach me, review my essays, and give me invaluable advice for my application strategy and documents, all while keeping me calm and collected. Soon enough, my happiness exploded as I began getting interview invitations from schools that I could only have imagined some months before. Mr. Thomas was also there, to prepare me exceptionally and thoroughly for the demanding interview process. This journey had a very happy end, since I got two admission offers, from Yale SOM and MIT Sloan. I chose the latter.
I am so grateful for having discovered Dia Gerontoudi Prep Center. I could have never achieved my goals without the assistance and guidance of Ms. Dia and Mr. Thomas. If I had to describe them with a single word (or compound as Ms. Dia would say) it would be dream-realizers! Thank you very much for the beautiful journey!
