MBA 26', Duke University, The Fuqua School of Business, Merit Scholarship / LLB, Athens Law School

It may sound like a cliché, but it is absolutely true that without the catalytic assistance of Dia and Thomas, this magical journey that lies ahead of me would never have become a reality.

Dia was an incredible mentor throughout my GRE preparation. Her empathetic and personalized approach gave me the confidence and skills I needed to excel. Dia’s dedication and close mentorship were instrumental in navigating the complexities of the exam with assurance.

Thomas provided invaluable assistance with essay preparation and the strategic selection of universities. His profound knowledge and rigorous approach guided me through the intricate application process. Our spirited debates only served to refine my applications and strengthen my resolve.

Also, I must mention the invaluable contribution of Mr. Konstantinos Karalis, who, in close collaboration with Dia and Thomas, managed perhaps the most challenging task of all, for me. He not only brought my quantitative skills back to a satisfactory level but elevated them to the extent that I achieved an excellent score in the GRE. Those who come from a humanities background understand how difficult this is. Looking back, I realize that his mission was not easy, but truly, his teaching methods and the breadth of his knowledge made all the difference!

As a lawyer, my path to an MBA was unique and fraught with challenges due to the nature of the degree and the preparation required. Despite this, Dia and Thomas believed in me from the start. They recognized my potential and saw what I could achieve, providing unwavering support every step of the way.

Although Dia and Thomas have completely different approaches—Dia with her empathetic and nurturing style, and Thomas with his rigorous and disciplined guidance—both were pivotal in their own ways. Their combined efforts over the course of almost a year were essential to my successful enrollment at Duke Fuqua. I hold them in the highest respect and esteem.

Thank you, Dia, Thomas, and Mr. Karalis for your exceptional mentorship and guidance. Your belief in me and unwavering commitment have made this achievement possible.
