Getting admitted to the Masters in Financial Analysis of London Business School was my goal since the second year of my undergraduate studies. I knew that a high GMAT score would be necessary to achieve this, as the MFA constantly had a class average of over 710. Everyone at Dia Gerontoudi Prep Center was instrumental to my success, helping me score a 720 in GMAT and an 8 in IELTS.
Having a quantitative background in finance, I knew that I needed to place more emphasis on the verbal part, while sharpening my math skills. Mr Karalis and Mrs Gerontoudi provided me with the exact blend I needed to score a high GMAT score. Mr Karalis had a very comprehensive approach to math problems, insisting on understanding the actual theory behind each exercise, a method that proved crucial in the final exam. With regards to the verbal part, I would not have been able to achieve a 94 percentile grade if it weren’t for Dia. Not only does she have an excellent method to treat the GMAT as an IQ test, rather than an English exam, she also displays such dynamism in her teaching that you immediately know you will succeed if you follow her advice. Overall, Dia is an amazing coach that believed I could do well on the test, even in times where I almost gave up. Thus, I do not think there is anyone better to guide students through the GMAT.
Finally, Mr Kalandranis gave me very tailored lessons and tips for the IELTS, as I was under tight time constraints to make the early application deadline. Leveraging his experience in the IELTS, he was able to quickly understand my weaknesses and help me improve them in limited time.
I have only great experiences from Dia Gerontoudi Prep Center, and I would definitely recommend it for every aspiring business school applicant!
