Harvard MBA 23′ / MEng in Chemical Engineering, University of Bath / GMAT 700

When I decided to pursue an MBA, I knew that everything starts with the GMAT.

Working with Dia for my GMAT was absolutely the right decision and I have only positive things to say about her methodical working methods. As I lived in the United Kingdom, we had virtual private classes, which worked out perfectly. Dia is an expert in the verbal section with a very strong knowledge of the English language. She is also a great instructor and teacher. She had a very well-structured way of covering the syllabus of the exam at the right pace and she could quickly identify and focus on specific areas where I was weaker. She provided me with strategy techniques and multiple tips which enabled me to quickly eliminate the wrong answer choices and to choose the right one, while staying on track with time.

Having finished with the GMAT, the next crucial part of the MBA journey started; to select the right schools and to present myself in the best possible way via the essays and resume. This is where Thomas played a catalytic role. During our first conversations, Thomas asked me challenging questions which made me think deeper about my motivations to pursue an MBA and reflect on my strengths and weaknesses. Moreover, his inside knowledge around the specific profile and ‘needs’ of each business school helped me decide which schools to apply to. Further capitalizing on his experience, Thomas advised me how to tailor my essays to the specific style of each school, in a way that enabled me to communicate appropriately my strengths, motivations for an MBA, career goals and strong interest for each school.

Odysseas Elytis said that “the journey matters more than the destination”. However, there are some exceptions and the journey of applying to a business school is one of them, as no applicant would be happy if their efforts did not bring the desired result. Having gone through this journey and having been accepted in my dream school, I can say that working with Dia and Thomas was the best decision, offering me a great journey and destination.

I totally recommend Dia Gerontoudi Prep Center to anyone looking to maximize their chances of getting admitted in the school of their choice.

Thank you very much for the support!
