Test of English as a Foreign Language is a standardized test of English language proficiency for non-native English language speakers wishing to enroll in U.S. universities. First of all, you have to check the iBT score you need for each university of application. The grade scale varies from 0-120, a generally acceptable score to have would be around 90-100. Yes, you can retake the test as many times as you wish, but you cannot take it more than once in a 12-day period.

• You can reschedule or cancel your registration up to three full days before your test date, not including the day of the test or the day of your request.
• The fee to reschedule is US$60 and must be paid before you can reschedule.
• If your request is not received at least three full days in advance, your test fee will not be refunded.
• Test administrators are not authorized to make schedule changes.
• To reschedule, you will need to provide your registration number and the full name you used when you registered.
